Shake-up raises fears of expertise gap
Mark Carney, governor of the Bank of England (BoE), unveiled one of the biggest overhauls of a major central bank's management structure in more than a decade, which he said would place the bank at the forefront of joint policy-making by "sweep[ing] away a proliferation of internal committees that held up decision-making".
Outlining a comprehensive ‘strategic plan' in London last night that will alter everything from how often ranking committee members meet to how much staff is paid, Carney said
