ECB reveals plans for supervisory board minutes
Danièle Nouy calls for European institutions to ‘compromise’ on SRM
The board of the European Central Bank's (ECB) single supervisory mechanism (SSM) will provide a "record of proceedings" to the European Parliament on a quarterly basis, Danièle Nouy announced today.
Nouy, the chair of the supervisory board, told the parliament's committee on economic and monetary affairs that providing an account of its meetings was a "key element in building up the accountability framework" between the two institutions.
Under an "inter-institutional agreement" with Parliament
