Riksbank unveils organisational shake-up

Sweden's central bank is to set up three new units, including a 'markets department' inspired by Norges Bank and the Bank of England, as part of an organisational overhaul that comes into effect on March 1.

The new departments, which include a cash and payment systems department and a corporate services department, are aimed, among other things, at improving co-ordination of financial analysis at the bank and gathering the "work on payment systems and cash into one and the same department".
