Central Bank of Nicaragua appoints Ovidio Reyes president

Ovidio Reyes has been appointed president of the Central Bank of Nicaragua, following the transfer of his predecessor, Alberto Guevara, to a different position within the government in mid-January.

Reyes, who had been the bank's general manager since November 2012, served as acting governor following Guevara's departure and was formally appointed to the post last Thursday. Sara Rosales Castellón is the bank's new general manager, according to reports.
