Draghi spells out QE possibilities

The European Central Bank (ECB) could purchase bank loans if they were "packaged in the proper way" according to the bank's president Mario Draghi, who addressed the prospect of quantitative easing (QE) in the eurozone at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Saturday.

Market watchers have been making a case for QE for months but Draghi, the ECB president, has always remained coy when questioned about the prospect in press conferences.
