Fed study shows US banks still wary of lending to European peers

US bank lending standards to European banks and their affiliates again tightened during the past three months, according to the Federal Reserve's October 2012 Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey on Bank Lending Practices, released on October 31. As with a number of earlier Fed loan officer surveys, the October research included questions about European banking institutions and their affiliates.
