CEE countries in a good position, says Mexican deputy
A deputy governor of the Bank of Mexico, Manuel Sánchez, on October 18 said Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries outside the European Monetary Union are in an advantageous position, as they are still close to Europe but not fully exposed to the euro crisis.
Speaking at a National Bank of Poland conference in Warsaw, Sánchez said before the crisis "there was a queue of countries" wanting admission to the eurozone. Now, however, it is rational they remain in a wait‐and‐see mode –
