Praet describes the ECB’s role in the financial crisis

Peter Praet, a member of the executive board of the European Central Bank, on May 10 outlined his perspective on the institution's role in managing the financial crisis.

Speaking at the 40th Economics Conference of the National Bank of Austria in Vienna, Praet said the ECB had played an "important role" in confronting the challenges during the crisis.
