Dombret calls for faster EU action on regulation of Sifis
Deutsche Bundesbank executive board member Andreas Dombret said today (May 3) that the European Union must speed up the regulation process covering systemically important financial institutions (Sifis).
Addressing the Institute of Law and Finance at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Dombret highlighted that the EU was due to create the legislation to enact the Financial Stability Board's key attributes for resolution of Sifis in 2011 but these key attributes have not yet been implemented.
