Buba discussion paper uncovers secrets of board risk-taking
The Deutsche Bundesbank today (March 6) published a discussion paper that suggests a higher proportion of women on executive boards can increase risk-taking.
Allen Berger, Thomas Kick and Klaus Schaeck acknowledge that little is known about how socioeconomic characteristics of executive teams affect corporate governance in banking.
This led the trio to investigate the question. Making use of what the researchers term a "unique dataset", they demonstrate how "age, gender, and education
