Japanese public offers opinions on economic conditions

The Bank of Japan published the results of an opinion survey today (February 13), based on a cross-section of the general public.

With regard to economic conditions compared to a year ago, the proportion of respondents who answered that economic conditions "have worsened", decreased. However, when quizzed about the outlook for economic conditions one year from now, the proportion of respondents who answered that they "will worsen", rose.
