Plosser bemoans 'confusion' over Fed communications

Charles Plosser, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, on February 1 said the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) policy of setting a calendar date for when economic conditions are likely to warrant low rates had led to some confusion.
