Latin American and South-east Asian central banks confer

The inaugural South East Asian Central Banks (Seacen) Research and Training Centre and the Centre of Latin American Monetary Studies (Cemla) conference is under way in Malaysia.

The two organisations collaborated to organise the event titled: The Implementation of Monetary Policy: Lessons from the Crisis and Challenges for Coming Years.

The conference began on Thursday and will run until Saturday at the Bank Negara Malaysia's Sasana Kijang building in Kuala Lumpur. The conference, which was
