IMF paper identifies most systemically important jurisdictions
An International Monetary Fund paper published on Wednesday looks into systemic trade interconnectedness and identifies several jurisdictions that should be observed by supervisors.
Luca Errico and Alexander Massara, the paper's authors, use the IMF's Direction of Trade Statistics database and network analysis to develop a framework for ranking jurisdictions based on trade size and trade interconnectedness indicators, and to assess systemically important jurisdictions in the global trade network
