A Bank of England paper, published on Monday, examines the systemic threat posed by credit rating agencies and the policy implications in new regulation.
Pragyan Deb, Mark Manning, Gareth Murphy, Adrian Penalver and Aron Toth, the paper's authors, examine the current role of rating agencies and consider the public policy response to failures made during the recent financial crisis.
