BoJ's Nishimura says subprime crisis mirrored Japan’s 80’s housing bust
Kiyohiko Nishimura , a deputy governor of the Bank of Japan, drew on lessons concerning financial stability and central bank policies by comparing the financial crisis in Japan 20 years ago with the recent experience in the United States, in a statement released Friday.
