Riksbank's Öberg calls for careful policy normalisation
An imprudent unwinding of unconventional monetary policy could entail negative effects on production and employment, Svante Öberg, the first deputy governor of the Riksbank, said on 20 August.
Forecasts show that Swedish GDP will grow by 3.8% this year, although the five consecutive quarters of growth have only recovered half of the 8% loss of output which resulted from the crisis.
