ECB – Monthly Bulletin (December)

The European Central Bank's (ECB) Governing Council opted to end some of its open-market operations earlier this month because of the improved conditions in financial markets.

The ECB noted in its Monthly Bulletin that improved conditions indicated that not all liquidity measures were needed to the same extent as they were in the past.
