Trichet calls for fundamental financial-system change
Jean-Claude Trichet, the president of the European Central Bank, has said he wants to see "fundamental" change in the finance industry post crisis.
"The financial industry needs to change fundamentally. It needs to put more emphasis on robust business models, sound balance sheets and far better management of liquidity and risk," Trichet said on Thursday.
