Recovery underway, but risks remain – IMF

The International Monetary Fund said improving economic conditions coupled with government and central bank interventions meant the risks to the financial system had subsided, but not disappeared.

Ahead of its annual meeting in Turkey and the publication of its latest World Economic Outlook, it cautioned that the risk of another dip in the recession outlook remained and that credit risk remained high.

"We are on the road to recovery, but this does not mean that risks have disappeared," said José
