Nigeria names and shames debtors
The Central Bank of Nigeria on Wednesday released a list of debtors who had defaulted on loans granted by the five institutions that were subject to last week's state rescue.
The list, which accounts for loans of between N32.4 billion ($207m) and N100m, features more than 200 debtors, among them some of the country's richest men.
Two billionaires, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola, make the list. The central bank document stated that Dangote was one of three directors and shareholders responsible
