McTeer on making the case for markets

SPEECH - In the speech 'Problems Making the Case for the Market: Good Intentions or Good Results' Bob McTeer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas said he was happy to report that the evils of inflation are greatly diminished, and considerable progress has been made in reducing inflation in recent years. Inflation is low and is poised to go lower, he said, given the slack in the economy, the sluggish recovery and continued productivity growth.
