Three candidates progress in enlargement talks

EUROPE - European Union enlargement negotiations yesterday received a boost after three candidate countries concluded negotiations on the important "chapter" related to justice and home affairs.

The chapter, concluded by the Czech Republic, Cyprus and Slovenia, the frontrunners, has become increasingly important for enlargement negotiations since the attacks on the US.
