Swedish cabinet split over euro decision
The Swedish government, already split over whether to join the euro, was headed for crisis on Tuesday amid reports of an imminent cabinet reshuffle, reports Eubuisiness.com. The national referendum on whether to join the single currency is to be held on September 14.
A truce between Prime Minister Goeran Persson and the eurosceptics in his cabinet has always been fragile, but as the vote draws nearer, the cracks are getting harder to hide.
