Central Bank of Aruba - Annual Report 2003

The Central Bank of Aruba has published its Annual Report for the year ended 2003. Stimulated by a more favourable external environment, the economy of Aruba started to recover from the 2001-2002 recession. In 2003, the production volume rebounded by 1.4 percent. Consequently, nominal per capita income reached a record level of US$ 21,158, one of the highest in the region, the annual report said.
