BOJ's Hayami wants increased securitisation

Bank of Japan Governor Masaru Hayami repeated Monday that policy in Japan should be focused on structural reform of the country's fragile financial sector, which he said is muting the impact of easy monetary policy.

"If financial and capital markets aren't working properly, the effect of monetary policy will not be communicated to the entire economy correctly and speedily and the effect of the policy may be reduced," he said in a speech to business leaders.
