Garganas looks to reform of banking regulation

Greek central bank governor Nikos Garganas told a banking forum on Tuesday 5 December that he wanted to see reform of banking regulation.

"There are cases in which banks abuse their power. That is why we must be able to intervene through a suitable statutory framework," Garganas told a banking forum in Athens arranged by The Economist business magazine.
