European Central Bank is indeed accountable

LETTER - Letter published in the London Financial Times on 28 June from Chris Huhne MEP.

Sir, Michael Davenport (Letters, 21 June) was wrong to say that there is no political accountability at the European Central Bank. Article 113 of the consolidated treaties sets out the reporting commitments of the ECB to the European parliament, Council and Commission.
