Japan report solid economic recovery, warns on oil

"The economy is recovering at a solid pace as improvements in the corporate sector are extending into the household sector," the Cabinet Office said in a monthly economic report on Thursday 5 August.

In the previous report issued in July, the government upgraded its assessment of the world's second-largest economy for the first time in six months, saying Japan was now recovering "at a solid pace" instead of "steadily".
