Experts want Nigeria's central bank split into two

A team of experts from the IMF, Bank of England, CBN and key areas has recommended splitting the central bank of Nigeria into two separate institutions with different responsibilities.

Experts drawn from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other key sectors of the nation's economy at the weekend in Abuja recommended the splitting of the apex bank into two separate entities charged with different responsibilities.
