PBOC's Zhou says yuan reform 'a slow business'

Exchange rate reform will be a "slow business" according to People's Bank of China governor Zhou Xiaochuan, who was speaking in Beijing Tuesday 24 May.

"It's impossible that there'll be news in just one or two days," Zhou Xiaochuan said according to the state-run China Securities Journal. "Reform of the yuan exchange rate is a 'slow business'."
