Sterling coins may contain more nickel than euros
UK - Britain in Europe (BiE), a lobby group who campaign for UK entry to the euro, have come up with the perfect riposte to euro sceptics who complained that the new euro coins contain high levels of nickel which can cause skin irritation in some people. In a press release BiE ask the question, Does the pound make your hand drop off?
So much for the anti-European fretting that euro coins contain dangerous levels of nickel. Philip Bradbourn, a West Midlands MEP, had warned that: these coins
