President of Bank of Estonia's earnings

ESTONIA - The pay of the Estonian central bank's President Vahur Kraft totalled 874,186 kroons (EUR 56,000) in 2001, of which the 12-month salary made up 486,360 kroons.

The president of the bank also received extras and bonuses in accordance with the results of his work, the Bank of Estonia said. Kraft's monthly salary was 40,530 kroons.

Expenses in the amount of 208,654 kroons were compensated to the chairman of the supervisory council of the central bank, Mart Sorg, during 2001.
