Fed holdings of Treasury securities for foreign official institutions dropped by $127 billion in March

Official international institutions shed US Treasuries held by the Federal Reserve at a record monthly rate in March, according to official data published on April 2.

The data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis show the value of marketable Treasury securities the Fed held in custody for foreign official and international accounts declined by $127 billion to $2.85 trillion between March 4 and April 1.
