The release of the IFF China Report 2020 follows the first steps towards a US–China trade deal, promoting an atmosphere for greater trust. The outbreak of coronavirus has highlighted the importance of trust and co-operation further still, as nations must work together to weather the impact of both global health and financial crisis.

The 2020 report provides insight into the most important Chinese policy initiatives and places them in the context of their impact on the global economic, financial and monetary systems.
