FCA launches new digital sandbox

Project will give firms access to “high-quality datasets” to test new technology

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority has launched a new “digital sandbox”, aiming to help financial technology firms tackle the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic.  

The new sandbox is a joint project between the FCA and the City of London Corporation. It will grant firms access to “high-quality datasets” to test new technology, the FCA says in a statement released on July 16.
