BoE partners with QA Media to benchmark software investments

Central bank aims to improve own software development processes, and those in the banking sector

The Bank of England is launching a partnership with information provider QA Media in a bid to improve the resilience and efficiency of its own software development processes and those of commercial banks.

As well as signing up for a three-year subscription to the benchmarking service, the BoE is contributing its expertise to the development of the platform. The central bank has already engaged in a proof-of-concept stage, alongside several commercial banks.

The benchmarking system, known as QA
