Covid-19 forcing reserve managers to rethink asset allocations
Adjusting asset allocations and dealing with reduced market liquidity are reserve manager challenges
The Covid-19 crisis will have a “significant impact” on reserve management over the next year, according to a new survey of reserve managers at central banks around the world.
As part of Central Banking’s Reserve Management Trend Survey 2020, 74 reserve managers responded to questions at a time when markets around the world were combatting the Covid-19 pandemic.
Twenty-nine reserve managers (73% of 40 responses) see the Covid-19 crisis impacting their tactical asset allocation, 63% their risk
