Unemployment 'will play central role' in monetary policy decisions
Godwin Emefiele, the new governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has said the bank will use "direct interventions" to support selected sectors of the economy, adding that the unemployment rate will henceforth play a central role in monetary policy decisions.
