Periphery and inflation offer headaches for the Eurozone, says Credit Institute panel

The Eurozone’s approach to inflation, coupled with the funding schedules of its most heavily indebted peripheral member states, will present major challenges for the currency union in the coming months, according to panellists at the Credit Institute meeting, held in London on March 24.

The panel, entitled “The European Union’s problem is solvency, not liquidity”, focused on the nature of the Eurozone’s funding crisis and the progress of the attempts to resolve it.
