BoE signs up to LGBT charter
Inclusion is a “critical ingredient” to running a successful organisation, says Sarah Breeden
The Bank of England has signed up to a new charter to support its lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) employees, executive director Sarah Breeden said on July 25.
Breeden said the move fitted with the BoE’s wider approach to considering “all aspects of diversity” in its strategy, “to deliver an inclusive working environment for all our colleagues”.
“I can tell you from speaking with senior leaders throughout the City that diversity and inclusion are no longer seen as HR buzzwords
