Minneapolis Fed president Neel Kashkari announced on July 7 that all employees at his bank would require proof of full vaccination from the end of August.

The policy will apply to current employees and new hires, he said in a blogpost on the bank’s website.

Kashkari said the measure was necessary to ensure the Fed could return to face-to-face work safely. “Our work requires close collaboration among staff,” Kashkari said, adding, “we are not going to be a fully remote institution”.
