Employee council asks governor to consider changing working arrangements to rotate staff
At least 50 employees at Bangladesh’s central bank have tested positive for Covid-19 at a hospital in the capital, according to a media report today (June 4).
Anwer Khan Memorial Hospital in Dhaka announced at least 50 central bank officials had tested positive for Covid-19, according to Bangladesh’s Daily Star. The newspaper says the number of cases could be much higher, as employees’ samples have also been tested at other hospitals.
