National Bank of Slovakia files complaint with prosecutor, saying police acted corruptly over failed insurer

The National Bank of Slovakia has announced it has filed a formal complaint of criminal behaviour against the country’s police, after some of its employees were arrested in February.

Slovakia’s National Crime Agency arrested two people on February 26. One was currently employed at the NBS and one was a former employee, the central bank said.
