Think-tank proposes framework for Scottish central bank, should independence vote occur

A paper published by a Scottish think-tank has proposed a new structure for a central bank, should the nation vote for independence in the future.

In Scotland’s National Bank, Central Banking in an Independent Scotland, Craig Dalzell proposes the institution’s structure could be based around a “stakeholder style board” that would draw expertise from multiple sectors of the economy, rather than just the financial sector.
