RBNZ’s Gordon offers advice on building a sound risk management system

Former risk head points to essential foundations of an ERM system

A successful enterprise risk management (ERM) system requires the right foundations to be in place, according to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's (RBNZ) Steve Gordon.

When the interview was filmed on March 3, Gordon was the RBNZ's head of risk assessment and assurance, though he has since been appointed head of currency, property and security.
