Vanoli approved by Argentine senate as central bank governor
Switzerland: The Swiss Federal Council appointed Fritz Zurbrügg as the next vice-chair of the Swiss National Bank (SNB) governing board yesterday. He will replace Jean-Pierre Danthine, who retires at the end of June 2015.
Zurbrügg is currently a board member and, as vice-chair, will also head the central bank's department II, responsible for the financial stability, cash, central accounting, controlling, risk management, operational risk and security divisions.
