HKMA executive director joins IMF's monetary and capital markets department
HKMA head of research new number two at Fund's central bank-monitoring division
Dong He, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's (HKMA) research director, is joining the monetary and capital markets department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as a deputy director, the HKMA said today.
The monetary and capital markets department is responsible for monitoring financial sectors, as well as monetary and foreign exchange systems, around the world. It prepares the IMF's bi-annual ‘Global financial stability report' and its director, José Viñals, represents the fund on the
