Bank to announce heads of seven directorates that come into being on June 1

The Bank of England (BoE) is still looking to appoint the heads of seven new directorates – including those for monetary analysis and international affairs – set to come into existence on June 1 as part of sweeping changes to the bank's governing structure unveiled in March.

The structural overhaul – which prompted a reshuffling of several members on the BoE's top committees in addition to changes to day-to-day operations – has been characterised by governor Mark Carney as a bid to boost
