
ESRB views US financial deregulation ‘with concern’
Vice-chair Olli Rehn announces new communication drive as “memory of last financial crisis fades”

The first vice-chair of the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) has expressed its concern about the ongoing drive to deregulate finance in the US.
In a speech today (February 20) to the European Parliament’s economic and monetary affairs committee, Olli Rehn said that president Donald Trump’s administration was “establishing new priorities”.
